API 6D Cast Steel Swing Check Valve,ANSI B16.5

Swing check valve is also known as a one-way valve or check valve,whoes role is to prevent the media from backflowing in the pipeline. The Disc relies on the flow and strength of the valve to open or close. To prevent the backflow of media is called the check valve. Check valves are automatic valves, mainly used media channels in one-way flow. It only allows medium for one way flowing.

Structural characteristics

Working principle:

Through the fluctuation of cylinder plug, the valves assist the disc to rapid opening and closing in order to achieve sealing surface

D. The opening and closing of valve is controlled by a pneumatic device,to speed up the valve opening and closing.

Maintenance
1. Valve should be stored in dry and ventilated room to prevent the moisture, rain, rust.
2 After month of storage, the Disc should be in a closed device when delivered. At the same time, the following work should be done: A: valve clack shall be fixed at the opening position. B: diameter at both ends in the mouth should be blocked with foam plug. The port must be cover up,with plug to prevent the dust, rust. Keep the passage clean and end surface flat.
3. Cylinder parts of the appropriate packaging protection, shockproof and anti - collision;
4. Valve should be placed stably, pneumatic driving device upward, shall not be squeezed.
5. Valves should be regularly checked if they are placed for a long time. Every three months the inspection should be done on the two channels, dirt and rust on the seal face, protection status of the welding interface, after wiping dirt and rust, rebrushing anti rust oil again is another protection.
