Stainless Steel Blind Flanges

Blind flange is installed in the position where the piping or equipment needs to be cut off such as between two flanges,whoes main function is to completely cut off process medium so as to avoid affecting production and causing an accident due to the shut-off valve closed loosely.

Blind plate whoes formal name is flange cover, sometimes called blind flange.It is a flange without holes in the middle,used for blocking pipe stopper,by which the role played is the same as the end socket and the pipe cap. Just only the sealing of blind plate is a knock-down sealing device and the sealing of the end socket is not ready to open again. There are many form types of sealing surfaces suchas flat face, convex,ring joint face,ect..
Blind plate used for blocking in the end of pipeline has welding blind flange and flange cover (flange cover for bolt connection),which generally is used in the end of feed pipe, and also to temporarily close when some of tubulations need doing pressure test first for a short time some.If the end of pipeline needs to be closed off,then directly use an end socket to weld it up.
